     William Charles Kitney was baptized on 15 December 1850 at Detling, Kent. He was born on 15 December 1850 at Detling, Kent, UK. He was the son of Stephen Kitney and Jane Wratten. William Charles Kitney married Elizabeth Ashby, daughter of William Ashby and Jane Hunt, on 25 December 1873 at Barming, Kent; after their marriage they migrated to NZ.      Herbert Walter Kitney was born on 20 September 1881 at NZ. He was the son of William Charles Kitney and Elizabeth Ashby. Herbert Walter Kitney married Agnes May Lewis on 30 June 1909 at Greatford, NZ. Herbert Walter Kitney died on 23 February 1956 at Marton, NZ, at age 74.
